Not all trends will suit you, so sifting through is essential to get your personal look and style.

The days are still warm, yet I know the Autumn air is just around the corner.The mornings have deepened and yes we need that extra layer over the arms to stop that first morning chill!

Every season there are trends and classics………put them together and oh my you have style!

The idea is to pick the trends that suit your body shape and colouring. Put just one or two of these ideas with your classic pieces and there you have it a new season outfit.A lot of trend pieces can be as simple as an accessory- scarf, hat, necklace, bag, belt, shoe.

You will see some repetition of last years trends for the cooler months ahead.  Fur is definitely making its mark again, mainly in vests and coats. Watch the thickness of these items, they can make you feel overwhelmingly bulky.  However, an excellent way to bring a simple outfit into a fun, textured and warm ensemble.  Jackets can be range from denim, suede, merino, cashmere, leather…… the list goes on.  Try and look for a coloured coat to brighten those dull days. Throw it on the top of casual clothes during your daily outings and finish that evening outfit with a hint of colour! Ponchos can surround your shoulders for that cold sports viewing with a hot coffee in hand!

You may have invested in a new pair of ankle boots last year, great news dust them off and team them up with your favourite jeans, black pants or cute dress for the season!
